Crreating Real Threads very eazy with Catalog

Hi aall,.

sample : Creating Real Thread with Catalog.ics

1. Drag and drop the thread,,

2. Select a new surface(geometry),,,,,,,,,,,

3. Change the pitch to you want both in Thread edit and Parameter,,

It's a piece of cake./

I only tested it with Metric screws, I'm not sure does it also work on inch threads

 

For the 3D printing female thread :

I think you can use Minor Diameter(Internal) or Tapping Drill Diameter for the cylinder of the thread.

For me, Tapping Drill Diameter have too much gaps, I printed above nuts with Minor Diameter(Internal).
