  1. Frank, We have encountered this problem many times. I think I may be able to help you. 1) Are you using external links? 2) Is the file path very long? - Spencer
  2. Harley, I think he posted this twice. Once as a guest and once as a new member. It was answered in the other thread (well a solution was found anyway)....after some questions lol. - Spencer
  3. If I may suggest the following: Go to the command prompt. run the "sfc/scannow" command: It will look like the snip below. This will check your system file integrity. It's a long shot, but it may fix your issue.
  4. I don't use sketched bends often at all, but from your description this should no be happening. Can you provide a little more information? Also, try using the miter for something like that. The part can be made in less than 15 seconds with the miter tool. - Spencer
  5. Doug, unfortunately that puts me past my depth haha. Sorry i couldn't be of more help. - Spencer
  6. Oh, i see. That is very odd. When you go to your index settings (control-panel, etc.), is the drive that the searched files are on checked for indexing? - Spencer
  7. I suppose you could do a cross section edit of a hole block from above and sweep only the end curved bits. I'm not sure how helpful that is, but just a thought. Or you could wrap emboss the ends using a sketch and the ark length. - Spencer
  8. Maybe I'm confused by what you are asking. The video i posted shows that it works on windows 10 and shows me doing it. - Spencer
  9. Can you not just open the file explorer and use the quick search at the top right? It will search for anything in your local or connected drives. If you use the bottom left windows search it will not work. -Spencer 2020-03-19 09-08-00.mp4
  10. Harley, That is awesome! Thanks for sharing this! - Spencer
  11. You can also copy and paste an existing material from the catalog. Then you can edit it that way. - Spencer 2020-03-02 09-07-33.mp4
  12. I gave the .ifc import a shot with a large structure with full fasteners, etc. and it worked fine for me. It is a 53 Mb file also and I have 16GB RAM. It did take some time to import, but once it was in all was smooth and well. -Spencer
  13. Thanks Cary, You at IC get stuff done! No more importing through SW for .IFC. - Spencer
  14. Looks Good! Great ideas Everyone (Malcolm of course). - Spencer
  15. Will, This has been an ongoing problem for me for about 2 years now. I crash roughly about 66 percent of the time after the results are shown on screen or during meshing process (as do multiple other machines I have used with different hardware). I am yet to find a solution, but some days it works fine and others it seems to hate me lol. My crashes are usually a complete shutdown of IC with no warning or message. Sometimes it freezes for about 20 seconds then shuts down. Let me know ({PLEASE)) if you find something that works for you, Thanks. It is worth noting that during the last beta it did seem more stable for a little while. - Spencer
  16. I DM'd you lol. The water is actually a mesh that has a physics engine moving it around with the use of collisions. - Spencer
  17. Though you might get a kick out of this. - Spencer 2020-02-12 09-15-15.mp4
  18. They are attachment points because you used IC MECH for the structural members. Hope this helps. - Spencer 2020-02-10 11-03-55.mp4
  19. Just make sure you have selected (browsed to) the stock table in your options menu. 2020-02-07 11-53-41.mp4 - Spencer
  20. Okay, well at least I'm not going crazy lol. Thanks for the help everyone.
  21. Yep, Can't find it anywhere. Can you post a snip?
  22. I know it is weird that i cant sort this out, but how do i put an image in place of the default letter (in my case an S) image icon that shows next to all user posts. I think maybe an internet plugin is hiding the button to do it or it is just a case of where are my glasses...oh on my head. Thanks. - Spencer
