Dipo
Hello! I would like to insert the company vector logo into the drawing. I know how to insert an image, but every time I try to export the PDF the logo quality is terrible. I also tried increasing the export quality and dpi but nothing changes. Also tried different image formats (Tiff, PNG, JPG), the image is in high definition. Is there a way to import a vector instead of a raster? I use IronCAD 2023. Thank you very much. tlehnhaeuser
I export logo as DXF and the open the DXF in drawing , copy and paste on the template file. I use Inkscape to convert logos to DXFs
SSIMMONS
Convertio will also do this.
Dipo
converting the logo to dxf is not a problem, the problem is that the colors and thicknesses of the paths are not imported. Is there no other way?
tlehnhaeuser
Sorry I haven;t found a way to get a clean image exported out of the ICD enviroment so I just use an outlined black DXF'd logo. Also, There's an issue sometimes with the circles exporting as hex's so thats another issue.
SSIMMONS
Maybe your source logo is far too large and IC in massively compressing it or something? We have a logo and it looks fine when we export, pretty sure it is just a JPG.

Dipo
Just tried with random logo. Please note the difference between what I see in the drawing and what appears in the pdf. Terrible export quality. This is why for years I have been putting logos into Illustrator after exporting the PDF. But it's something I hoped would be resolved by 2023, but no... Bertrand Kim
Hi Dipo, if you inserted that image to ICD by Drag and Drop, ICD makes images ugly. There is another way using Paintbrush to insert the image other than drag and drop, which is a bit prettier. It is working Windows 10&Windows 11.  1. Menu-Create-Object  2. Select Paintbrush Picture then Click Enter 3. Files->Insert from the file 4. Then Exit the Painbrush  Result with IronCAD2022 (Image resolution : 300, Image Quality : 100):    Kim Edited April 4 by Bertrand Kim

SSIMMONS
Nice find!
Bertrand Kim
I found this method by accident two years ago, when I was using ICD, so I think it's probably not easy to find this way for almost people. This should be an enhancement request. Please do not compress Drag and dropped picture files without our permission. This seems like a very old setting, and a few megabytes of file size increase won't make much difference in 2024. I have more than 40TB in my home system for my missiles.
