YEO
When CAXA calls a part to STANDARD VIEW, if OPTION checks show thread runout, TAP is displayed like the first image, but the marked part is hidden like the second image using HIDE LINES. This is very annoying, so is there a way to prevent it from being displayed when I call PART? If you don't select the OPTION's SHOW THREAD RUNOUT, it won't be displayed, but if it's not THRU TAP, RUN OUT is not displayed, so this method is not good. Is there any other function? Malcolm Crowe
Hi YEO, I never use the "Thread Runout" option, so I've never noticed that problem with threaded holes thar extend through the part. This is a bug that needs to be logged by Support. Until it is fixed you can use the "Hide Lines" tool on the Ribbon Bar (3D Interface Tab) to hide those Thread Runout lines. IronKevin
Can someone point me to a drafting standard doc that illustrates this runout correctly?

Hi Kevin, What a drafting standard doc do you want? I don't know if anyone has ever tried to figure out how to punch a hole in the air. Cary OConnor
Agree. It is a bug. The ICD handles the case properly on Through holes. It should be a simple issue to address.
IronKevin
This issue should be fixed in the next release.
