Bertrand Kim
bandicam 2022-06-14 21-17-49-683.mp4 You know you can not turn off Object Viewer (Added in Ironcad2022#PU1) window bcuz there is no close button. Even if you don't use it, it covers the screen a little bit. I will explain how to turn off it 1. Open any catalog 2. Take the opened catalog from your catalog list 3. Drag the catalog's name into the Object Viewer's name of window 4. Stick Object Viewer to Left or Right or Bottom... 5. Close two window ps. Object Viewer window will appear again if you restart Ironcad ps2. I don't know what kind of crash this may cause Edited June 14, 2022 by Bertrand Kim
emil.rindell
Hi, To deactivate the Object Viewer you have to right-click at an area without icons, then click on Object Viewer. After that it would disappear. Hope this helps!
Cary OConnor
That option mentioned above should also be on the Quick Access bar at the top next to the Catalog open/close.

Hi Cary, Thanks for the information, I will try reinstall later. And I think it would be there is the close button in Object Viewer window for stupid people like me for better UX Bcuz I never use Quick Access bar on any program, so I don't look at there Kim Edited June 14, 2022 by Bertrand Kim

That button appeared after reinstall. And disappeared after paste my old xml files (from IRONCAD2022#PU1 that updated with Update Utility) in Customization directory. I guess Update Utility didn't create New xml files Kim
Cary OConnor
The Update will not replace XML files (as users customize them). A full install will deliver the new ones. For the update, you have to delete the XML files for it to deliver the new set or add the command manually in the customization. The Reset UI command in 2022 PU1 should also deliver the new set if you run that command. We don't have a tool to migrate custom XML with the new commands at this time.
