Tagging sectioned parts in CAXA sectioned view

Hi,

Another question for the experienced..

I have a section view and I am trying to tag parts, however it won't put a tag to a sectioned part for some reason. Can you normally tag items which have been sectioned in CAXA?

Yes, I had this problem a while back. I can't recall if it was resolved, or if it was I forgot how to do it

Hi Alan,

This isn't the normal behavior within CAXA DRAFT. Have a look at the attached video to see whether you are doing anything different.

I think it was a self-caused issue. This is my first project in CAXA and I wasn't sure what to expect. 

I moved the model from the folder it was created in and that was when the issues started.  ended up unlinking all the parts in the assembly (gulp) and put the file back where I created it. I was then able to tag parts again in a new section view... go figure? I noted that the Ironcad mechanical database file did not update to the new model file location.
