IronKevin
You should have a Show Catalog browser button on the quick access bar on the very top upper left row of icons.

Hello Kevin, Currently I'm experiencing the same problem. I stupidly closed the catalog browser. I'm sadly unable to open it via the method you provide above. Is there any other way to open the Catalog browser? Greetings, Martijn
IronKevin
Look to see if you have it set to auto-hide, there will be a small tab in the upper right where the catalog browser was.

I guarantee every one of us has done that. I made an enhancement request some time ago that the x buttons on the scene and drawing file tabs be somehow distanced from the x button on the scene browser ( opposite side to the catalog browser I know, but equally disastrous when you screw up ). I am fully aware of the dangers, but now and again in a hurry, POOF! away goes the scene and property browser - then it's a stretch of my boomer-age brain to connect the dots and remember how to fix it Harley
