ITAYLOR
What is the best way to get a wire frame scene 'without edges" to export to a high quality export image. If I select export image (or render), the result is full colour. All I can do is screenshot the display... which gives a result that fuzzes out quickly when zoomed. A graphics specialist needs the quality to make an "assembly manual" of an exploded view I created. He imports to adobe software. Any tips welcome. Thanks. Malcolm Crowe
Hi Ian, My suggestion is that you generate views in ICD or CAXA at the largest view scale that will fit on the largest paper size (such as A0), then print as a PDF. This PDF can then be opened in a graphics editor, which when scaled down should display a high level of detail. Doing it this way gives you more control over lineweights etc, which you won't get from the 3D scene. Malcolm
SSIMMONS
What Malcolm said for sure. If you want to get real technical and really mess with lines and what not, open in CAXA and do the same print to PDF. - Spencer
