Hello! & Thanks in advance. This might be one of those questions with a simple answer but I'm probably over looking something simple. I have a project I am working on where I need to cross over some bend lines but I just cant seem to get it right. Both bend lines on the left need to fold up 90° as well as the centerline. Does anyone know of a way to achieve this? I thought the miter tool would help but I am having no luck with it.

Hello, I am dealing with some files which were deleted by mistake then recovered using a professional service. The same file has been recovered in a few different ways, with each of them providing a new error: 1. Failed to load the document [document pathway]. Cause: Document version appear to be newer than currently supported version 2. Failed with error 32: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. [I press enter] Failed to load the document [document pathway]. Cause: Unable to open one or more document streams. 3. Error loading file [document pathway]. Error message: T. Note: Temporary file creation failed. Please check disk space and write privileges on C:\Users\[my profile]\AppData\Local\Temp [I press enter] Failed to load the docmuent [document pathway] Cause: The docfile has been corrupted. We have tested both a Ironcad installation from a workstation, and also from a trial copy of IC 2023 on a system at home to no avail. I'm not sure if there's any process for recovering these files. They vary from quite small to 500mb in size.

Hi I'm pretty new to IronCAD, and have been playing around with my company's custom catalogs. One in particular won't open anymore after I closed it; when I click the open button from the file folder, nothing happens. Reopening the scene does not help. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thanks!

help drawing problem; scale between part and sketch lines are way off
Guest posted a topic in Tips and Tricks
Hello, This is my first time posting to the forum so I'm sorry if this isn't the sub-forum for this kind of request, but I was hoping I could get some help fixing an issue I've always had with IronCAD drawings. When I use the Sketch tools (Two-point line, Polyline, Arc by center-and-two-endpoints) and then use the smart dimension tools to label the distance between these lines, the measurements of these sketch lines are way different than the measurements of the part itself. Below is an example: As you can see, somehow, the offset lines measure as further apart than the part itself?! How do I make the Sketched lines measurements use the same scale? Any tips much appreciated! Ken Machinist -
Hello everyone, After trying some things in the catalog browser I managed to lock myself out of it. I still open and use catalogs. But I can't right click, if I do I get the popup "Acces Denied". Anyone got a clue on how to fix this? I'd like to make my own group with ready made cabinets for a faster drawing time. Greetings, MB
