  1. I see - it is a long-therm problem. It seems IC is not suitable to work in sheet metal with the "perforated parts" in flat! Question: May we expect some progress in the future versions, please?
  2. Next one issue - Custom profile onto a bend and edit profile in the Flat does not work - if you create pattern of holes. Summary: If you need to create pattern of holes on any bend - seems it is impossible. Hmm?
  3. Hmm. I see that drop a Custom profile onto a bend and edit profile in the Flat works pretty well But unfortunatelly - It does not work with the "Conic Stock" And so - if the customer needs to place pattern of holes to the flat and then fold them back up - then (with the Conick Stock) - I don't see any suitable solution. Do you have any advice/solution for "Conic Stock", please?
  4. See the picture inthis post, please Red points - standard points to "snap" the "blue" profile Is it possible to define the distance to move the profile to from a red point to the "big blue point"?
  5. Is there any way to move profile not to the position defined by points - but to the exact distance - e.g. 5 mm in one of the displayed axes?
  6. Does anybody know the software which is able to twist imported part around a curved axis It seems that IRONCAD, ZW3D and other "not mainstream" CADs are not able to do it I know the CATIA has module for it Is the Rhino able to do it ? ...or other SW at lower price ?
  7. Cary - you wrote: "In IronCAD, you can extrude to face within the same part and you can use Structured Part Bodies if you want to create a case similar to what I described above" Only small note: If there is possible for Inovative parts to trim part (by other part) - it is reasonable (for inovative parts) to have possibility to extend part to the selected face of the other part (without mating of course). Otherwise the user has to manually extend the part and then use the Trim feature to get requested result = 2 steps instead of simple 2 clicks
  8. All in the video is ok. But sorry it is not what I'm asking for. I need to put Frame Length column to the BOM. It means - Not Frame length in this form: Steel 70 x 40 x 5 X 1210,00 But the Frame length in this form: 1210,00 mm And I want to take it from the custom variable Frame Length - but the BOM doesn't know it
  9. Does anybody know how to put Frame Length to the BOM (Welding construction) The Frame length is included into Frame name (eg: Steel 70 x 40 x 5 X 1210,00) But I need to insert a new coulumn Frame Length with the lenght of frame only In Inovate parts - the BOM knows custom parameter It seems the the BOM doesn't know custom parameter of the steel frames incuded into Structured part (Welding construction) - FrameLength.jpg ...I have tried everything.
  10. Other solution: 1. Assembly - Create Part 2. Confirm the message to set new part as active 3. Feature - Copy Body 4. Selct the bodies, or parts, ...etc Finally you get one part with Brep items (previously parts of assembly)
  11. Yes. I understand. You're right - when you have linked files it could lead to the serious problems ...I've never realized this. Thank you
  12. Right. Thank you. ...I knew that it should be easy. Anyway When designing inside the assembly - other CADs has possibility to extrude "up to faces" of the other parts & keep "mated" such connection. Is it possible to do it aslo in the IronCAD ? ...it is reasonable and very helpfull for the steel constructions, for example.
  13. Is there any way to match the face to the face and not to the "hole"? See this video please
