CHRIS Why is it that if you bring in from catalog 2 assemblies that are 1M each and save the file {which is now aprox. 2.1M} then recall the file delete the 2 assemblies and drag in a block from the shapes catalog the file and save the file now becomes 1.4M insted of the 56K that would result from draging in the block and saving it in a new scene by it's self. Is IC keeping a bunch of garbage that just grows each time you build and remove stuff from a scene. Is there a way to do a clean save of file? Dallas

The tools catalog I have other problems with is Gear tool. Helical gears don't work.even with the default entries in the menu. The other thing is the way my gears end up looking is to have a hole pattern to bolt them on the end of my rotary dies. If I go back and add properties i.e. change the tooth size, the bolt pattern goes away. But I can live with that. I would like the helical gear to at least look like a gear. Dallas

I agree that Screws should be correct size It is a pain at first but I pull in the common size screws I use and modify them to real world size and save them in a catalog and that works actually faster in long run because I just drag and drop. Also in that catalog I keep common "correct size" washers and dowel pins. I even have the CNC mill tables complete with "T" slots and also the Kurt vise and angle plates. Dallas

I use the Burlap pattern on the part surface I want to look like knurl. Catalog=Fabric then Pick Burlap It ain't perfect but it looks somewhat like knurl Dallas

Right click on the spinning Coil and save the .gif file and take it into correl draw or whatever and you can look at it frame by frame. Dallas

Me Again. I us win 2000 pro and it also happened when I was in version 4.2 and another computer using 2000 ME.

I did not touch that Dos any one else have a problem with the pull down menus popping down when typing text in the drawing, or when editing part name in the scene browser. What I mean by this is I will highlight the Part name and start to type the new name in and the pull down menus will activate as if I had hit Alt and a hot key. Is this My problem or have others had this happen??? Dallas
