emil.rindell
Here is some ER for rendering: A default setting for "Lock" rendering windows. A default setting for "Render both sides of surface". And the most important one: Before a finished rendering is closed it should be great to have a "Save warning" if the rendering not has been saved. It had happend sometimes that you just close down the window as an reflex and poof 4 hours of rendering material is lost.. Cary OConnor
Robert, Closing the scene will not close the rendering window (It is still open but the focus of the application becomes the IC window. If you tab or click on the start bar, the rendering window will still be there). The rendering window will only close if you close IRONCAD completely. Cary OConnor
As for the Render both sides default, that may not be a good option. It will slow down the rendering if all the parts are set to this mode. Maybe a better setting would be that anytime you apply transparency, automatically set render both sides. Cary

Cary 28622[/snapback] Ok, well I agree, so as soon you enter the value for the transparency this function will become active on that specific part. Now it's abit time-consuming to create models with many transparent parts because you need to enter this on every single part. What do you think about the "Save Warning" then? Cary OConnor
I will file the save option as an ER as well. Cary
