Hey, Tom! What happened to my acoustic dopper current profilers image I sent you last year?

It's in the IronCAD gallery under "marine".

I hope all is well at your end of the country!

Dave

Tom:

I finally got some free time to do a rendering of my lemon and lime squeezer project. I fancied it up a bit. The sample shot I posted above was done with the old renderer a few years ago. Anyway, here's my latest. I need a little assist on how to make the background transparent. I don't have photoshop, but I have the Gimp installed. I find its UI to be somewhat of a nightmare, but that's because I have no idea what an alpha channel is, how the heck layers are suppose to work, etc., etc. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Okay... upload no worky, so here's a link. Let me know if you you want the high-quality, and in what format... Edited by EricFoy

Thanks, Cary.

Here's a weird one: When I hover over my original "link" my browser shows it correctly, and the window opens, no problem. So I went back and edited the markup that I stuck in there, and -sure enough- the extra / was in there. So I have fixed it in my post. All should work now.

All just part of the saga of life in this overly complex world of technology which we all enjoy so much... biggrin.gif

Hi Eric,

Well, I decided not to get that boat. The guy lied (what a shock) in regards to the amount of work involved to fix it up. Sorry no pix.

I need to sell quite a few more IronCAD licenses to get one of these "boats":
