Grabbing A Handle

Does anyone know of a hotkey, trick, etc.. to be bale to grab a intellishape handle that is covered ny the Shape toggle icon?

...And if a Hotkey does not exist, Please add one IronCAD Dudes. I fight with this daily. The only solution I have found is zooming in. This can be difficult with very small parts or parts in a crowded assembly.

There is not a hotkey. However, you can right-click on the Intellishape and uncheck the option "Show Toggle Icon". This will temporarily turn the icon off until you deselect the shape, but it gives you full access to the handles.

I have this often!

I rotate the view or zoom in or out, which helps in most of the cases.

But sometimes its hard to catch the handle.

Personally I have never used the little "Shape Toggle Icon" (or used it very little), and I used to run into the same problem all the time. If you don't care about the icon, you can go to "Tools->Options->Interaction" and uncheck the box marked "Show edit handle toggle icon upon selection". That will get rid of the icon for good (well, until you re-check that box). Its an option.

I agree totally Tom.

 

I often wish to swap between the 2 formats depending on what I am trying to do.

 

I would also like an option to always have both handles available. (When you extrude etc., you then need to go into properties & tick the relevant size boxes to get choice of both handles.)
