Adding 'empty assembly containers' to scene tree.

Hi IC Team,

How do you go about creating these 'empty assembly containers' in the scene browser?

How can you create an empty part and add later?

It would be nice to have videos on all these new toys that IC has introduced in 2024 because you've spoiled us in the past with these

I agree that we would love to see videos about many of the new functions in the What's New documentation. Kevin has added some videos here at the Community too.

The new Assembly structure function is "simply" that you can click on the Assembly button and create an "empty" Assembly.

Jonas is correct. You can click on Assemble to create an empty assembly (and sub-assemblies). To create an Empty part, go to the Structured Part ribbon. The Create Part button will create an empty part based on the default part type selector (to the right of the Create part command). Then, you can drag parts and assemblies around or use the copy/paste to build your structure.
