CAXA - How to let BOM follows source 3D model

Hi

Is it possible to save the BOM follow with the 3D assembly model in CAXA Draft?

Here is a problem that I faced , I build a 3D assembly model and its 2D drawing , then I manually adjusted the sort of this BOM.

I insert this 3D model into other file( as shared components) , and create its 2D drawing , but the sort of inserted assembly will back to the original order , I would like to know is there any way can let BOM follow the source 3D model? not only for sorting but also keep connected to the 3D model , because this model may be modified in the future.

Hi Lee,

I think you can not make let them follow specific CAXA BOM you were manually edited.

However in your case, it is the best way changing the sort of the tree in the source scene because the sort of BOM follows the sort of scene.

Yes! I agree with you , but sometimes the sort of scene will mess up without a reason , so it will take a lot of time to check both sort of scene and BOM.
