rsaucier
Anyone have any tips on drawing a curve for a centrifugal pump? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cary OConnor
Hi RJ, If you are building that type of pump, you may want to consider using structured parts. You can have more control in building that loft path and the profiles. I have seen some example for this in the past (I would need to see if I can find them). As for the curve design, I would defer to the community for their input on that type of information. Cary

Hi RJ. Are you meaning the scroll casing when you talk about the curve? Harley

Bertrand Kim
Hi folks, I don't know how to draw the curve of the scroll casing, but that looks similar to my cam drawing. Isn't that? Kim

tgjang
I think it would be very convenient for you to create spiral curve and sections as a reference, and then have IronCAD create the curves for you directly. turbo_137_04_041009.pdf pump calc example.xlsx Krishtop_2017_IOP_Conf._Ser.__Mater._Sci._Eng._233_012005.pdf IJSEA08081016.pdf Edited May 1, 2023 by tgjang
