Malcolm Crowe
It opens correctly within CAXA DRAFT. But there is definitely a problem when importing into either the 3D Scene and ICD. Malcolm
WAENGENEND
Yes that's what I mean and since we are not working with CAXA and only ICD, I hope a fix will be there quick since this is very irritating. We use this import DXF daily.
Malcolm Crowe
The DXF you attached consists of a single "Polyline". You can get it to work if you follow the following: 1. Open the DXF in CAXA (or another DWG Editor) and then "Explode" the Polyline into individual line elements. 2. Save the file as a DXF. 3. Then import into the 3D Scene or ICD. It appears to me that IRONCAD isn't handling "Polylines" correctly. Attached is your DXF that has been opened and exploded in CAXA. The other thing you could do is to ask whoever is creating the original DXFs to ensure that they "Explode" the geometry before (or during) saving as DXF. SSIMMONS
I posted something about this a couple weeks ago, but I was opening in CAXA and then pasting in a sketch in the scene. For whatever reason, if i exploded the geometry all the way and then brought it in, problem solved. -Spencer

Bookels
Adjusting the Tolerance (user units) value to 0.1 ' under 2D profile import options might help.
IronKevin
Nice find! Tolerance of 0.1 inches fixed it.
