Importing DXF Problems

The DXF you attached consists of a single "Polyline". You can get it to work if you follow the following:

1. Open the DXF in CAXA (or another DWG Editor) and then "Explode" the Polyline into individual line elements.

2. Save the file as a DXF.

3. Then import into the 3D Scene or ICD.

It appears to me that IRONCAD isn't handling "Polylines" correctly. Attached is your DXF that has been opened and exploded in CAXA.

The other thing you could do is to ask whoever is creating the original DXFs to ensure that they "Explode" the geometry before (or during) saving as DXF.

I posted something about this a couple weeks ago, but I was opening in CAXA and then pasting in a sketch in the scene. For whatever reason, if i exploded the geometry all the way and then brought it in, problem solved.
