PatrickB
Hello IronCAD community, I have a small issue with the paper frame in IronCAD Draft. When I save it in DWG and open it in Autodesk TrueView it is somehow "shifted" from the paper itself (pls. see screenshot attached). Any idea how to fix that? In Draft the frame is positioned on 0;0. Thank you, Patrick
Malcolm Crowe
Hi Patrick, I've just noticed this post. What you are seeing is nothing to be concerned about, as it isn't a problem with CAXA or how it has exported the file to DWG. It is simply a case that the "Plot Area" of TrueView isn't aligned with the extents of the drawing. I haven't got TrueView installed on this computer, so in the attached video I've used BRICSCAD (which is a DWG Editor) to demonstrate how the "Plot Area" is aligned with a drawing coming from CAXA. I hope this reassures you. Malcolm CAXA - Exported DWG - Plot Area is Offset.mp4
