Stefan_S
Hi, is it possible to extract the file name and/or the file path in a Caxa-drawing when working on a drawing with no 3D Model link? Have tried with attributes, but can't get it to work. Can i use DIESEL in Caxa? I'm looking for something similar what people used to have in the autocad title block. Malcolm Crowe
Hi Stefan, I asked this question many years ago and I'm not aware of a solution being added since. My workaround at the time was to add an attribute to my drawing frames to enable me to add it manually when requested (using copy and paste from WIndows Explorer). But I've never had a client request this since, so for me it became a none issue. Your question about using DIESEL code is interesting though. I've never seen any reference to DIESEL or LISP in CAXA documentation. Malcolm
Stefan_S
Hello Malcolm, thanks for your answer. I also just added a textfield as a workaround. What's interesting though is that a caxa file has a lot less custom properties (or "drawing properties") than an icd file, at least on my installation.
