Malcolm Crowe Posted March 26, 2021 Share Posted March 26, 2021 (edited) Before exporting a "Multi-Bodied Structured Part" it is important to be aware that all of the following will be exported. 1. Solid Bodies (unwanted solids can be deleted within the part structure before exporting) 2. Surface Bodies (unwanted surfaces can be deleted within the part structure before exporting) 3. 3D Curves (these cannot be deleted within the part structure before exporting) If your Structured Part contains 3D Curves that you don't want exported with the model, then one solution is to create a linked part of the solid body that you do want to export. Then open that linked part, and create your exported file (STEP etc...) from that solid only linked part. See the attached video.
