SSIMMONS
2021-01-21 15-58-43.mp4 Good Afternoon, Does anyone have any idea why this is happening to my sheet metal? It looks like some weird intentional behavior, but it is very unwanted by me. Any tips would be great, thanks. - Spencer
Cary OConnor
The bend is set to a closed bend. If you right-click on the sheet metal bend and go to the properties, you can click on the reliefs. Set both to Square or set the depth to 0 to remove it.
Guest Hi SSimmons :)
This is I think just graphics "pulling your leg" As you see the sheets integral of the bend area ends at the blue line visual when you pull the length. I guess you will not find the same at fold out or on the 2d if you generate a 2d file ? If you update your GPU driver or change settings it might cure, often it also disappears if you just switch kernal for the part, most likely from parasolid to acis. Good luck ! Thanks Cary, I messed with those setting thinking that might be the cause, but I must have forgot to hit apply or something. Thanks for the help, bye bye hole block quick fix. -Spencer
