HDEAR
Hi all, I was creating bulk view drawings ( ICD ) for a project and I had all sorts of problems getting all the sheets I had selected to provide all the correct views. Then when I went back to the scene, I found all the command and fluent bars at the top had disappeared completely. If I right click anywhere in the area, there's no response. Even when I exited and re-booted my computer, I got this scene and cannot access any commands. How do I get this back to sanity again with my command bars showing? ( I must say every time I use bulk drawings for ICD, I end up with some grief, so in future I'll avoid using it.) Malcolm Crowe
Hi Harley, To toggle on and off the Ribbon Bar use the following keyboard combination. "Ctrl + Shift + R". Malcolm
HDEAR
Thanks Malcolm. I had completely forgotten that famous move. Phew - normality returns - almost feeling that 'Lazarus moment' there. So busy at present but must completly migrate to CAXA for tech drawings, as the grief both Jeremy I get with ICD bulk drawing is costing us too much wasted time and $$$. It was after having glitches with ICD bulk drawing that IC scene went haywire. Hope to see you soon when I'm up in Taupo. lewishugh@yahoo.com
OK, so "Ctrl + Shift + R" will restore the hidden ribbon, but how do I get Ironcad to always show the ribbon when it starts a scene? Thanks.
Malcolm Crowe
When closing, IRONCAD stores the current User Interface settings. So if the Ribbon Bar is displayed when IRONCAD is closed, then it will be displayed when started again. Well that is the normal behavior for me anyway. lewishugh@yahoo.com
Thanks for the info. What I am seeing with 2019 is inconsistent behavior. Sometimes after exiting 2D mode and restarting IronCad, I have the Ribbon and sometimes I don't. Keeps me confused, and annoyed.
