Orlik
Sometimes when I insert a BOM table with option "parts only", it spawns a table that is too long. For example if there is only 6 parts in a assembly, it drops a list of length for 855 parts. On position 1, 2,3 and 4 contains information for 4 parts, then there is a long "empty gap" from 5 to 853 and on position 854 and 855 there are two last parts. How to fix it? Mike Hatch
Not sure if this is related but I do know you have to be very particular about a parts "Part Properties" and "Assembly Properties" with the "Include this shape in BOM" and the "Assembly Expansion in BOM" selectors, if these are askew then large BOM's with many empty rows can result, and tracking them down can be tedious. I have found that the part above the first block of empty rows can usually be the culprit. We recently had an assembly from a customer with thousands of Brep1's all set to "include in BOM", the BOM table was huge for a dozen or so actual parts. Orlik
An imported supressed assembly was the reason. I turned off "Include this shape in BOM" of that assembly, and it helped. Thank you Mike.
