tlehnhaeuser
Below shows an image of a variable Blend on two parts. A user had asked me why is the one variable blend NOT linear and the other is even though it is dimensionally the same. Can anyone answer this? If so, is the a way to blend the NON-Linear blend to actually be Linear. Any feedback is appreciated.
jsavisalo
The edges of your variable blend continue tangentially from the edges of the corner blend and that's why they have to be curved; otherwise there would be a discontinuity at that point. So, if you put a suitable variable blend also to the corner, you should get the result you want. And use ACIS, it seems to handle this better.
