Robert Andersson
-Create a Extrude crossection plane. -Draw a polyline geometry one side of the W (or H) blue line. -Select all the 2D line. -Select the mirror tool. -RIGHT click on the W line. This would copy all lines, and make them associative to the orginal ones. Move the mouse over the small reed ikons to se info. -close the profile and select Finish shape. Test by dragging in the intellishape handles. The geometry is constrained to be mirrored at all times. This a an easy way to work with symetric shapes. B. Ludin
Neat!! How many more of this (undocumented?) treasures are there hidden in IC? Beat

B. Ludin
Sure. But as much as I like T&E and playing around, I haven't got all day long. IC's interface is great (mostly), still I do like to have a comprehensive manual which I can work through once and reference later. But then, I may be an exception in that respect Beat
Robert Andersson
Yes you are absolutly right, some kind of tooltip or hint, in those cases would be very handy. Robert Andersson
cborer
Nice feature! But it works only with lines and curves but not with Bsplines. Changes on Bsplines seem not to be constrained, not automatic mirrored. IC makes often problems with Bsplines. ( Shell / offset )
