Yes, same for me, cannot edit the description, was able to before.

We have just taken a look at that problem and it seems to be bug

and we have issued a bug report.

This still seems to be an issue in 2017 SP1. I cannot edit the description.

 

Also, I don't seem to be able to dimension to the cosmetic thread lines. It seems to snap there

but if I click it, it doesn't "stick". Dimensioning in Ironcad would be so much better if the selectable snap points weren't so limited.
