I believe that "X horizontal and Y vertical" and "X to right and Y to up" means that sketch should be always edited in the same view regardless of position of plane in project. Or I want it to work in this way.

Hi, I want to achieve situation when I have some base part and several modified versions. But - this bases are still linked with each other. Some example: Now I want to split it in half, separate and modify (for example - add latches at inner face). I need to print it (3D) in 2 parts, but in my project this is one element. And if I edit thread it should update all derivative parts. Is it possibile to do this?

Hi, Why sometimes IC changes order of part elements when I edit something, like extrude's sketch? I found that sometimes this change has influence on other functions; and it's not problem with likes that I have edited because everything works when I manually reorder functions in part. aa2.mp4

I have similiar problems with floating windows. Probably it's the same but I;m using those in other way. I have float catalog window on second screen. It's working, but I have a lot of problems with it. - with opened two catalog windows (one with all catalogs and second with my catalog with shortcuts) - sometimes when I open IC or open old project file, opened catalogs mixes themselves. It means - in first windows I still have all, in second - some other one and in IC window is docked new, third window with all of them), - with open one floating catalog window, sometimes IC opens second docked. Now I'm working with one floating catalog windowbecause it makes less problems, but posisbility to have opened more will be greatful. On second screen I have also floating windows with "scene" and "properties" and they are always OK.

Is there possibility to use this "scaling" in mechanism mode?

Hello, I have some questions about automatic resizing ane mechanism mode. My "project": IC_spring.ics 1. I want to move yellow box on the grey profile - OK, it's working with constrains. But how to force spring to resize with it? I have tried with auxiliary box (Part4) but it doesn't work. 2. When I remove all constrins connected with Part4 I can resize it and spring will resizes too. Great. But...why for onl;y one size? In spring guide curve I created two projected points so both sides should work. 3. How to modyfy my file to force spring works in mechanism mode (to resize automatically when moving yellow box)? Is it possibile?
