  1. Hi I have used the "Cut Extrude" in the "Shapes" catalog to show cutouts on square tube... if that helps...?
  2. Hi I am struggling to move the bend call out text... I have attached a video Hopefully someone can show me what I am doing wrong... MOVING TEXT.avi thanks Justin
  3. Thanks Kevin.... I knew it was something simple I was missing
  4. Ok I am sure I am doing something wrong... but I cant seem to get the size of the sheet on the BOM. I have included a video of what I am doing... if someone could point me in the right direction as to were I am going wrong it would be greatly appreciated Oh and that pause from closing the drawing to being able to use Ironcad again... is that normal..?? thanks Justin sizes.avi
  5. Hi Cary. Thanks for taking the time to ask... I mentioned the changes that would be good in the enhancement section. I would like to see a column added in the sheet metal stock table with a "Price per square meter/ foot " added. Then this would provide the information to the " Rapid Quotation " feature to give you a price for the part. But I would like the option of filtering out some information that is not required. Personally we would only want to see the part number, bounding box size, number of bends, material, material thickness, and cost. Am sure others would want to see other / different items thanks Justin
  6. Is it possible to edit what and how information is presented in the new "rapid Quotation" feature....?? thanks
  7. thanks for the help guys, At least the computer wont be going for a trip...
  8. hey everyone. ok I have been pulling my hair out all day just doing this one file. To make any changes i.e move the holes it takes about 5 mins ( I made a cup of tea waiting for it ) for the program to sort itself out, and thats if it doesnt crash doing it. Even updating the drawing is painful. I told the customer it would only take an hour, that was, well sometime earlier today CPU usage is only at 10% memory at 30% Brand new computer and the first time I have done this many holes in a part so dont know if its the computer not right or..?? it seems to be making the slots after any change. even when I am not doing any changes to the slots. If I suppress the slots, ( this takes about 12mins) then all is good. Which makes me learn towards Ironcad not being able to handle this sort of thing... But if someone could have a look at the file and see if they are getting the same very slow process at least then I wont have to throw the computer out the window thanks Justin screen.ics
