  1. Hi Harley, Yes. . That model was set for a 2.45mm bend radius based on our current tooling. It was set previously at 3.39mm from our previous die, so I am migrating our models to it and messed my IC that new model were having this odd behavior.
  2. Hi Cary, Thanks for the reply. I checked the link which fine but it lost the bend relief compared to screenshot. This was the issue I was having earlier, something seem disconnected. I will run it on my notebook and see if it happens with that. Regards, joseph
  3. Hi Spencer, I have re-installed IC with Blake's recommendation and the reliefs are showing as it should but still can't upload to webviewer Assembly4.ics
  4. Just did a re-install and had this from the update, don't know if it matters
  5. Hi Spencer, Traced the cause, the bend reliefs on the sheetmetal. I never had this issue with my work and bend relief was having this issue since yesterday as in my post: Disappearing bend relief after adding fillets Do I need to re-install IC as changing kernel to ACIS use to solve it, now it breaks apart
  6. I really don't know, my other assembly is doing fine at a certain time but my new drawers is having this problem.
  7. Hi, Got this yesterday morning and today this afternoon.
  8. After changing the sheet metal type, the relief bends get lost when adding fillets and bend notches. It happens on this file only and I've done something similar with a different dimension and it doesn't have this odd behavior. It doesn't even show the path on the welcome screen. This has gone to many changes because the bend press die change from a 3.390 R to a 2.47R inside radius. Going Assembly18_End Panel Typ2U T2.5.ics

  10. Hi Guys, I was able to shell it by changing the order. Regards SH240-5312360.ics
  11. Hi Justin, Look at this: https://community.ironcad.com/index.php?/topic/14667-drawing-perf-metal-without-bringing-the-system-to-its-knees/&tab=comments#comment-55682 There just to many slots that requires regeneration, so it isn't your hardware at all. There used to be a SolidWorks 2014 test that can bring it down to its knees if the the hardware was not up to it. The density of your slots is many times over this. What you will notice is that you can actually do it in the first place, as soon as you edit, it will just takes much longer. Josh or someone else may explain it better than I can. regards joseph
  12. Hi Lee, No problem here on this, using W10 Home Edition. regards.
  13. Hi, I been getting this annoying error as I have rename the part name and description twice and no avail of getting it fixed. I created this part from a swing door panel from single sheet metal and a divided it into 2 new sheet metal part. I have deleted the single sheet metal, so there is now sheet metal parts A & B. Part B has no issue on DXF export only Part A What I am thinking if I use Convert to Sheetmetal Part command to create a new sheetmetal part will resolve this. But I think it should not be in the first place Regards all Sheet Metal Part7A Top Rear Swing-door-T2.5.icd Sheet Metal Part7A Top Rear Swing-door-T2.5.ics Assembly77 Rear Wing Door.ics
  14. Hi Spencer, I will give it a try, but I haven't experienced the triball turn purple. Both machine do experience this problem though so it is hard which one have a unicorn in the system . Regards - joseph
  15. Agree it is not consistent, I change my drive to D:\ and it went back to C\Users and ignored the Use the last open directory.
  16. Hi Cary, I was saving to a ssd usb3.0 drive that I used for work and at home. Would it possible that prior to this I was opening and closing other files from other folders of the mentioned drive and a NAS that may caused this, I was working all over the place. I opened the backup and found the file that was saved an hour before, but I have done save on 2 configurations that illustrate an opened side and rear doors. By default, I ticked Use last open directory as working directory. I've noted sometimes when I export a ICD to pdf, it opens to a different folder from where I have saved the icd file. So I am lost if this is a windows problem or an IC one that can be solved by setting it up to always run as administrator.
  17. Hi, I have completed my model, done a webview link for customer and save the worked and IC closed. The back up only saved partial of my model, I did saved twice as I created rear and side doors open configurations. Can the webview file reconstruct the model on it's last state, please advise. regards - joseph
  18. Hi Josh, Thanks for your insight. . Thee fiberglass and XPS foam compress rather elongate on the inner radius and not stretching out the outer skin.
  19. Hi Kevin, It occurred again, but this time it created a IRONCAD.DMP file, 2.88GB in size.
  20. This was an on-off project. I used the Sheet Metal Create Loft to create this 34mm thk. panel (1.6mm fiberglass skin top and bottom with XPS core 30.8mm). In actual prototype, the panel came short 45mm from the bottom and 22mm short in front from the bottom of the 2D profile. I asked the customer to check their invoice the length that should be 9888.803mm. While I am trying to get a grip on this, I created wiring channel/trench using the H Block (Cut Extrude) across the with on the material thickness on the model and also tried embedding it on bottom of the panel just trying to get the silhouette to shown when it is unfolded. Knowing it may not work but there may be a work around I may not be aware of, so please advise if there is a way, appreciate it. STD Ply carcass_w_A11RoofR1_34mm.ics
