  6. Strange... When I Rightmouse your image, I get Save as .BMP I know that the images have to be JPG or GIF to be seen. -Try to download the red rotating ironcad loggo, and then uppload it. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna

This is a fast way to create a simple brochure in a OLE compatible program like MS Word: -Place Word and IronCAD side by side. -In IronCAD, drag the red IronCAD ikon in the top of the scenebrowser. -Drop it in the white space in Word. Done. Word now have a image of the IronCAD part/ assembly. If you want to change something, just dubbleclick on the image in Word. Word will now edit the IronCAD model, with IronCADs toolbars. You can also resize the OLEwindow. Works pretty good with, not to big assemblys. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna
  9. You can rotate a text box to any degree: -Select the textbox. -Click on tool "Rotate Curves" A green anchorpoint shows. You can move that one with the mouse if you want. -Rightdrag the textbox and select a degree. Done. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna
  10. You cant place the standard arrow of a Feature Control frame outside of the View frame. But if you ADD a second arrow (and delete the first one) you can. Rightmouse on the arrow to see this menu: The arrow will still be connected to the View, so you can freely move the View. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna
  11. On the styles and layers toolbar (three ikons) -Select Named styles button -Change Linestyle dropdown to Dimension styles. -Select from you dimension styles list, and then click Modify -Tab Line Ends, put in your values here. Done. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna
  12. This happend if you make a template of a ICD that you already have used and done a couple of sections in. The ICD then will "remember" what the next section name will be. Here is A1, A2, A3 and A4 metric with english text and A - A in first section view. Open each ICD and select Save AS, change filetype to Template. Close.   13. Create a new drawing, change the arrows at drawing level. Save as Template If you use that template for your new drawing, you will have all settings as you have set them there. Like arrows, layers, linestyle, colors and much more. Very useful. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna
  14. Thats right Mike! I used no trick. It worked directly and I saw no problem... "set the minimum bend radius for the stock to .1mm (.004 in.) Then you can drag a bend with stock, delete the Add Stock shape, then drag another bend with stock. The jog will be only .2mm bigger than the stock thickness." You can also change a existing bent and set the values as in the dialog belove to zero. Drag that in to a catalog and drop that one to an edge. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna

  21. -Copy the part -Surpress the orginal part. -Select the copy at part level -Shape/ Set operation, select Remove material. -Create the Core -Position the Part to the right place relative the Corepart -Select the Core at Partlevel, SHIFT select the Part. -Shape/ Boolean.   22. If you are working on imported geometry (no intellishapes) and you cant "catch" a special handle, you can press CTRL. Then the handle will stay still when you are moving the mousepointer on top of it. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna
