hello Mr Robert Andersson, Mr. Cary. Mr Tim and all, I need some material preferebly a chart indicating the unique features of Ironcad over Autodesk Inventor and Pro/e. In addition to this if any other comparisons and cutomer's reaction on Ironcad can be provided than it will be highly beneficial for me. I have got it, thanks a lot. But it also has a small problem, if again u change the hight value by entering the hight value through "Edit forward End Condition" Then the relationship between our added dimention and the sizebox "hight" breaks. Hi All, Some more problems. I have created a catalog in which i have my standard component parts. When i drag and drop those items i can only modify the sketcher dimentions by just changing the parameters, but when i ned to change the hight i have to go back to the intellishape editing mode and then change the hight of the part. HOw to add the hight parameter in the part parameter list which only shows self created sketcher dimentions. All the parameter dimentions r in 2D? Thanks and regards AMIT BOSE Hope Technologies ltd.

Hi Robert, Thanks for the suggestion. I ve tried that ..even if u increase the surface smoothnss to the max ie 72 it does not work . Just now i tried by reducing the surface deviation to .001 then it worked to perfection. Thanks a lot and if u have any suggestion for my other problem of calculating the arc length/ spline length in the sketch mode then do reply. Hi All, Some more questions. When i am taking printout of drawings of gear tooth profile (in 20:1 scale) then the tooth profile which i am getting is not smooth ...ie.. it is curve shape formed by 3 to 4 straight lines. I have come to know that there are standard addon material libararies in solidege these libararies also contain standard cams and crankshafts where you just have to specify your own parametrs parameters. One of my leads has seen the demonstration of solidedge and they want a package which can help them in machine designing based on (packaging machines). Please guide me how I should project this software to him.
