  1. I would think initally the program would be almost 100 % Co. driven and the longer you are in the market place you would have to gravitate to 100 % market driven. The Co. would have to decide what works within their software and the priorties in implimenting the market sugestions it receives from the members. To be honest I don't have a clue how all this works. I'm just looking at it from an inventors point of view.
  2. I failed to mention that I get the error message, "Error occured while generating facets for part". Whe I do the sectioning. Then the assembly appears with a few parts missing.
  3. No, I basically have a solid wire inside a tube all encased in a larger tube. I sectioned them along their length. The larger tube showed up and the smaller wire but the middle tube did not show up. I went back to the scene drawing to check make sure it was their to begin with. Also I had one other part not show up as well in the same sectional drawing.
  4. What would cause a multiple parts not to show up in a sectional view of a total assembly? I have a couple parts missing in my drawing? The section line should be intersecting these parts right down the middle but they are just not appearing in the final sectional view.
  5. The tips were helpful. Also appreciate the heads up on the new draft tutorial. I seem to learn quicker from a guide to actually construct parts or assemblies rather than watching a quick animation of how its done. Especially if there is an explanition as to the best way to construct a part Vs another way. Hopefully there will be more tutorials in this format using the new inhancements of IronCAD 7. The more I learn the more I'm really impressed with IronCAD. Thanks for all your hard work? Tom
  6. Is there an easy way to extend a hole into a new part? The broken lines show the hole extending into the new part but when I rotate the parts the hole isn't through to the connected part. I tried to arrange the position in the scene browser but it won't let me do it because it belongs to a different set. I tried the "apply last tool" but I"m not sure what that tool supposed to do or how to use it correctly. I can't seem to find a explanation for the apply last tool. Help please? Tom
