bbraho
Is there a way to see for a given scene all the externally linked files, at least first levels, preferably with sub-levels as well? Ctrl-Shift-L shows the links on a ICD, but I cannot find a way for a scene. If it's not possible, please move this topic to enhancement requests. As a growing company, collaborative design (working together on different parts of the same project at the same time) is common and will quickly become critical. We are using external linked files to break down the complexity... We are using backups and revision control software, but not EDM. Thanks. bbraho
For the future, could this be put on the ribbon as well (maybe under Tools)? Thanks

tlehnhaeuser
Thanks Brian, looks interesting. So your just managing more a less the files themselves, correct. So if you wanted to have a revision box updated automatically in IC it cant do that, correct? tx for the insight Tom

This is file level version control rather than EDM. I made a conscious choice that we would not use EDM because the overhead outweighed the benefits. If we were a large organization, it would be different.

Jonas@Solidmakarna
If you're using IronPRO XT you also have the tool External Link Manager, which is really great. - Break all links (or selected only) - Save with a new name and/or in a new folder - Replace an external file with another file etc...
