Cary OConnor
Hi Tom, Are you just trying to create an ico for the catalog? I use IcoFx. I create an image in whatever graphical app then use that to create the various size .ico files. Can you explain the issue you are having? tlehnhaeuser
Hi Cary, I create the icon In InkScape to size (64x64). Inkscape only exports to PNG. Then I open PNG in Paint and save as an .ico bmp. But the background is always black no matter what color the art is, in my case the background is red. tlehnhaeuser
Also I liek to make nicer icons similar to the ones in the TOOLS catalog, but I cant get the sharpness either
tlehnhaeuser
the icofx works pretty good. On the other hand, when you drag a part into the catalog it automatically creates a thumbnail image. Anyway to find where that is and clean it up?
Cary OConnor
I don't think you can get access to it without some sort of code access. However, I do think those catalogs need to be generated better. I think part of the issue is the lines don't scale properly. The geometry seems ok, but the lines need better scaling capabilities like in PS.
