tlehnhaeuser Posted July 23, 2013 Share Posted July 23, 2013 Ok this has bother me for awhile, going post now ;-) I cant seem to get a image of a bottle mapped correctly to a 3D bottle shape. What I do: I trace the outline of the bottle to get teh exact shape correct and spin 360 to get model. However If apply bottle image as a texture or decal it Cant get it mapped right. Cary OConnor Posted July 23, 2013 Share Posted July 23, 2013 I believe you really need the flat image (unfolded flat) that will wrap around otherwise it will stretch.
