dhovatter
Carlo I check your web site now and again and really like your work. one of them reminds me of a piece of Aluminum I saw once at an Aluminum factory where the material had been warped up and twisted when they had a jam when rolling out the material to thin it down. your site, "loops and Lofts" # 410. keep up the good work. IronKevin
We don't officially endorse a specific hardware platform but I personally have been quite pleased with the last two Dell Precision workstations (with Nvidia Quadro graphics) that I have had. cborer
Thanks Kevin Maybe this is an ER! Hardware Recommendation! My dealer said he is waiting to assemble the new computer until he knows the recommendation of my CAD. So is there really no idea about it? Kernel 4 or 6? Graphic Card Processor Is there something that IC does not like? Or something that makes IC faster?
IronKevin
Hi Carlo, This is our only published system requirements: System requirements: OS: Windows XP, Vista or 7 (32 and 64bit supported) (Home Editions are not supported) CPU: Intel Pentium 4 or higher (current AMD processors also supported) RAM: Minimum: 2GB Recommend: 4GB or 8GB for very large assembly work. Video: OpenGL hardware-accelerated graphics card (for best results see HOOPS Compatibility http://developer.techsoft3d.com/hoops/hoop...raphics-cards/). Disk space: 1GB Beyond that we really don't have any hard data as a guide. For your work I would recommend at least 8GB RAM, a mid to high-end Nvidia Quadro graphics card and as fast of an Intel i7 CPU as your budget will allow.
