tlehnhaeuser
I have two questions: 1.) What is the differnce between the Ray Depth and Radiosity Depth? 2.) When I do a full global illumination, I cant seem to get rid of this "glowing" effect on shadows. See image below. What setting is it that I can edit to get rid of these glowing shadows? room1.bmp Any help is appreciated. tom
Cary OConnor
Ray Depth is the amount of bounces a direct light will take. The higher the number, the slower the rendering but give more accurate results. Usually this is needed when it may be going thorugh glass or bouncing on reflective surfaces. Radiosity is the same meaning but for the indirect radiosity lighting (not the direct lighting). 2. Try turning down the power of the GI or change the environment you are using (it may have a large amount of light). You can send the scene and we can take a look.
