Cary OConnor
FYI http://www.deelip.com/?p=3540 I would like to see some IRONCAD attempts! If an IRONCAD user wins, I'll see what we can do here for a better prize instead of Keyshot. Cary
ysinitsyn
By the way, in the two new posts, author talking about how to difficult (even not possible) open OBJ file in MCAD. But we know - Ironcad can! Those we have the advantage in this contest.
Cary OConnor
On note: I looked at the OBJ. It is a real facet model (the original file) so the surfaces are not smooth. Due to this, the shadows become dark on the file since it casts and receives shadows on the surface. It seem that we would need to turn those options off on the Facet Part Properties for each surface in order to render it without the dark shadow effect. I'll look into this a bit more.
