bbuche
is there any way to fillet a surface?
tlehnhaeuser
Yes there is a fillet tool in the Surface palette. You can also use the Blend tool on surfaces. They both have similar options. Also note you can fillet two indepenedent surfaces to either join the surfaces or create an separate "fillet" surface. tom
bbuche
so I have a square flat surface that I want rounded corners on, I tried all the buttons on the surface toolbar and cant find one that might do what I am trying to do? Am I just not getting it right?
IronKevin
The Surface Fillet creates a fillet between 2 surfaces. If you want to round the corners of a single surface there is no fillet tool for that, you need to put an Extrude Remove Metal feature on that surface or drop an "H" shape from the Catalog and edit it's cross section.
