Tom Bobo
Is there an easy way to extend a hole into a new part? The broken lines show the hole extending into the new part but when I rotate the parts the hole isn't through to the connected part. I tried to arrange the position in the scene browser but it won't let me do it because it belongs to a different set. I tried the "apply last tool" but I"m not sure what that tool supposed to do or how to use it correctly. I can't seem to find a explanation for the apply last tool. Help please? Robert Andersson
Apply Last=move that feature (Intellishape) to the last position in the parts historytree. If that feature is a hole, it will cut trough any feature before that hole. But only on the same part. Robert Andersson Solidmakarna
Cary OConnor
IronCAD 7.0 will have an Assembly Feature that will allow the functionality you are requesting. Cary
Guest cdeveaux
A side note on "Apply Last"; it won't do anything at all unless "Allow Reordering" is enabled on the part in question (at the part level, of course). To check whether it is, right click on the part in the Scene or in Scene Browser and see whether "Allow Reordering" is checked.
