gsidana
Hi All, Some more problems. I have created a catalog in which i have my standard component parts. When i drag and drop those items i can only modify the sketcher dimentions by just changing the parameters, but when i ned to change the hight i have to go back to the intellishape editing mode and then change the hight of the part. HOw to add the hight parameter in the part parameter list which only shows self created sketcher dimentions. All the parameter dimentions r in 2D? Thanks and regards AMIT BOSE Hope Technologies ltd. Cary OConnor
Right-click at the intellishape level. Click Parameters. Add a Length parameter under that level of the shape and give it a name and value. Right-click on the intellishape again and select the intellishape properties. Click on the sizebox tab. Click the "Show Formulas" option at the bottom. Add the paramter name to the height field. Now you can drive the height of the intellishape through the parameter table. gsidana
I have got it, thanks a lot. But it also has a small problem, if again u change the hight value by entering the hight value through "Edit forward End Condition" Then the relationship between our added dimention and the sizebox "hight" breaks. Is there any way by which we can lock that relation. thanks and regards. AMIT BOSE Hope Technologies Ltd.
Cary OConnor
There is not a way to lock the relation at this time. However, you can turn off the sizebox handles (this will keep the user from pulling on the handles and breaking the relationships).
