tlehnhaeuser
Is there a way in Ic to get the same texture "wrapped" as shown in these renderings? http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/micro-...hone-obj/408152
Cary OConnor
I think so. I used the image they have and applied it as an image shader to the Color Smart Paint. I set it as Natural UV with a Rotation of 45. Changing the angle will give different results. See attached. You can achieve it using the default Natural texture as well. Using the same method (not using the shader). Cary
tlehnhaeuser
Hi Cary, Thanks this is helpful. I was also close using he Spherical approach and using the same image a bump. However in their rendering not sure how they were able to "elimibaye the dark areas of the texture. t
Cary OConnor
The easiest way is to edit there image and delete the black areas (so that they are transparent). Then save as Tiff. Then use the Image Shader. Set the Transparency to Alpha. Then you will just have the grid type areas appearing. Cary
