iredfern
Have been playing around for a while , trying different settings, but nothing is producing what i need. The image that is coming out looks prety much exactly how I want it, BUT the shadows are much too dark. Have tried altering a number of paramaters, but just can't seem to get it quite right - which way is the best to simply lighten the shadows, without majorly affecting the outcome ? IronKevin
You could try increasing the "Ambient light level" - set in Format, Rendering.
Cary OConnor
What type of lights do you have in the scene? Are you using raytraced lights, soft shadow, or shadow buffered? Soft shadow will give better results but will increase the rendering time and will take a few passes to get them setup correct. The raytraced lights will have a little darker result but you can do as Kevin stated to lighten up the scene. Cary
