Cary OConnor
Hi All, Included with the new rendering capabilities are 3D Environments. In the IronCAD Program Folder, you will find an Environment Images folder under the Images folder. These are basic Studio 3D Environments that can be used as a lighting environment when using Global Illumination. To make it easier to access, you can download the attached catalogs (there are two - but they are the same. I just used different icons to help show the actual studios. You only need to use one or the other). To use: 1. Drag and drop into the scene. If your scene background is set to a color or 2D image, change the background to 3D Environment. 2. Open a file that already has a 3D Environment. Drag and drop the desired studio to the background. I have also included two scene files that use environments. You can use these as a base for your renderings. Both files have different rendering settings for the particular look. If you use these as a basis for your files, you may need to tweak the setting for better performance. Cary OConnor
By the way, make sure to check out the Partner CD when you receive our CD for Version 10.0. Our partner Dosch Design has provided high res and low res HDRI Environments that you can use for lighting and reflective environments. http://www.ironcad.com/explore/solutionpar...endering/dosch/ Enjoy.
