Marcus Bertilsson
In the new toolbar COG, the icons is greyed out all the time. I have dragged in a shape so it becomes a part, select it in part and shape level but nothing happen. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something that has to be done before this tool work? Something to be set under options? / Marcus
IronKevin
Try deleting your C:\Documents and Settings\loginname\Application Data\IronCAD\IRONCAD\9.0\Customization\ironcad.tbc file.
Cary OConnor
If that does not work, maybe something did not register properly on your machine. There are a few DLL's that start with 3iicap in the BIN directory. RTegister them with Regsrv32.exe in the system32 folder. Then restart IronCAD. Let us know. That did the trick. Now it work like a charm. A question abot the COG-tool: The "Hide"-tool, does it delete the COG indicator or is it a way to turn it back on? / Marcus
IronKevin
After Hide, just use Add to "re-display" the CoG.

Cary OConnor
Make sure IronCAD is not running when you register them. If it still fails, reinstall. Cary
tlehnhaeuser
Cary, I can;t get the COG or Design Variations to work. Heres what I have tried to date: 1. I first tried to register DLL's and they failed. 2. Ran REPAIR installation, and tried DLL's again, no good 3. Uninstalled IC and PU1, reinstalled just 9.0 , no good 4. Tried DLL's again, no good. Don;t know what else to do any ideas? thanks tom
IronKevin
Tom, Have you tried running RegICAPIDLLsEx.exe?
Cary OConnor
Tom, Are you getting errors when you register the ICAPI DLL's? What exactly is the error - Failed to Register or Entry Point Not Found? Entry Point Not Found does not mean that it fails. Anyway, let me know.
