Guest ebedding
We have the need for an "import" tool in the .icd environment. The ability to import .dwg files directly into the 2D (.icd) Ironcad drawing environment would be helpful. A recent example is adding a customers logo which was e-mailed to us in .dwg format. Importing onto a .ics workplane works but we need non-linked "easy import" functionality in 2D, perhaps even drag & drop for files? The export functionality is there but import functionality appears to be missing for .icd drawings.
Chris Lohman
File/Open instead of File/Import for .dwg It opens into it's own drawing, then you can copy/paste into your drawing. So we still need the import but the above is a workaround
Guest ebedding
Thanks Chris, Your method worked well with some sample .dwgs! Erik
