PDF export with shaded rendering

I have Adobe Acrobat installed on my computer, but I have never been able to make usable PDF files from IronCAD 2D drawings when there has been views with shaded rendering on the drawings. These views has just been excluded from the PDF-file! With this in mind I hoped that these problems would come to an end with the built-in pdf exporter in IronCAD 5.2, but unfortunately they were just partly solved. In some cases you get a black background on views with shaded rendering, and detail views is not shown correct. See examples below:

This is a screenshot on a drawing:

index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=149

This shows the PDF file made from that drawing:

index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=150

This is a screenshot of a detail view:

index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=151

This shows the PDF file made from that drawing:

index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=152

Urban, I had the same black background problem when I viewed the PDFs with Acrobat Reader 4.0. But the problem was solved with installing Acrobat Reader 5.0. With it the backgrounds are as they should be.

I haven't yet tested how it affects the detail view problem.

I have this problem also. Acrobat 5.0 cleared some up. But What I do is create a bmp from the scene and then in 2D click CREATE - OBJECT - CREATE FROM FILE - And browse to I get my image. This works great when exporting to PDF. Also this allows full rendered and perspective views on the drawing.

Hope this helps
