jvanderheide Posted May 29, 2002 Share Posted May 29, 2002 Dear Chris or other IronCad reader, When trying to project a conic section onto a 2D surface to produce an extrude shape, I get a serious mismatch. Both ACIS and Parasolid shapes seem to suffer the same "problem". Can you look into it? (I attached the scene; start an extrude shape on the conic section face facing you at startup and use the "project 3D edges" tool, pointing out the conic section rim.
