Guest ebedding
Check this out & let me know if this is helpful.. I was able to create (5) separate Bom areas on one sheet for the following title block sections. I had to play around with the custom configuration checkbox. I set the Styles & Layers, BOM checkbox to White to turn off the box around each Bom instance. I Hid the Bom header row by decreasing the row ht. I moved the .ics file so the link is broken. Selected Column in Bom: Description (Title) Selected Column in Bom: Part Number (Drawing No.) Selected Column in Bom: Qty Selected Column in Bom: Material (Created Custom Property) Selected Column in Bom: Next Assy (Created Custom Property) 1. Copy the .icd file into C:\Program Files\IronCAD\IRONCAD8\Template\Drawing\ANSI (English). 2. Select New Drawing, pick the file you just placed in the template directory. 3. Select Update All Views, and a window pops up to browse to the .ics detail you want to use & all the info from the .ics then drops into each block. 4. Select Save As instead of Save so you do not over write the original file. Changes made in the main assembly link out to the individual .ics files which update these individual details. By double clicking a Bom cell you can use "Assign Column Property Values" and drive a change back through to the assembly drawing custom properties. aac_B_FORMAT.icd
